About Our St. Albans Nursery
At Brock House we recognise the importance of all kinds of play, developing this to suit the individual child. While ensuring that all aspects of a childs development are covered, with particular emphasise given to any specific needs each child may have, we especially want every child to enjoy their time at Brock House. We also ensure that the children are beginning to become aware of different aspects of the local community.
The children enjoy playing outside in appropriate clothing every day - regardless of the weather. They are developing as individuals and their interests and needs are met by using a child based planning system which is frequently reviewed to enable parents involvement in their child’s progress. We have 2 parents evenings a year, as well as less formal events for you to join in – such as Brock House Fathers Day Tea, or the Teddy Bears Picnic. About Little Stars: 2 ½ - 3 Years OldThis is a smaller nursery room and is used for more reflective activities by our nursery age children. It is another bright room but set out to create a calmer environment. The nursery children are able to enjoy quiet time primarily with books, and reading in a relaxed atmosphere. It is also our base for nursery going home time.
